Reflexology

Oncology massage utilizes existing massage therapy techniques to safely work with the complications of cancer and its treatments. This type of massage is best performed by a therapist who has an informed understanding of the disease, knows the side effects of cancer treatments such as medications, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation and has the ability to modify techniques in order to account for these side effects, as well as for the cancer itself.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone massage is a natural therapy by which warm stones are positioned on specific areas of the body to elicit a therapeutic benefit. The stones used are typically river rocks or other types of smooth surface stones made of basalt. These stones are heated in sanitizing water before use. The high iron content in basalt helps the stones retain heat during the massage. Stone massage is beneficial both physically and psychologically.
