we offer bioidentical hormone replacement therapy in a variety of forms, including creams, gels, and pellets. Hormone pellets are small, rice-sized pellets that contain bioidentical hormones. They are inserted under the skin, typically in the hip or buttocks area, using a small incision.

Once inserted, the pellets slowly release hormones into the body over the course of several months. This can provide a steady and consistent dose of hormones, which may be more effective than other forms of hormone replacement therapy that require more frequent dosing.

The insertion of hormone pellets is a simple and relatively painless procedure that is performed in our office. After a local anesthetic is applied to the insertion site, a small incision is made, and the pellets are inserted using a special insertion tool. The incision is then closed with a small adhesive strip.
