Ultherapy
It is not a laser and is safe on all skin types because it penetrates and by- passes the top layer of the skin, lifting and tightening from the inside out. Ultrasound energy focuses sound waves below the skin and stimulates the tissue to tighten and contract. Ultherapy works by delivering ultrasound energy focused at a specific depth to gently heat the tissue, thereby stimulating the renewal of existing collagen and creation of new collagen. Ultherapy targets the deep foundation below the skin without disrupting the skin surface, unlike surgery or lasers. The procedure allows the Practitioner to see the layers of tissue and muscle being treated to ensure precise delivery of energy where it is most needed. The procedure takes about 60-70 minutes depending on the areas treated. Ultherapy has been cleared by the FDA after demonstrating safety in clinical studies and tens of thousands of treatments have been performed worldwide without any significant adverse events.
Good candidates for Ultherapy are men and women with good skin quality and mild to moderate laxity in the mid-lower face, neck, brows and eyelids. Ultherapy is not a facelift but an aesthetic lift of the facial skin and neck. It is ideal for someone who does not want surgery. One treatment is recommended for mild to moderate skin laxity. Clients with extensive laxity who are surgical candidates and do not want to pursue an invasive treatment option may require more than one treatment. Following an Ultherapy treatment, the skin may appear slightly red but this disappears within a few hours. Makeup can be reapplied immediately afterward if desired. Some clients may experience slight swelling and/or tingling/tenderness to the touch for a few days to weeks, which are mild and temporary. Clients can return to work after the procedure, or plan to go out to dinner the same night. While there may be an immediate improvement, most of the lifting and tightening occurs gradually as the treated area heals itself, resulting in a natural appearance. The long term results and the majority of tightening and lifting of the skin occur after 3 months. Collagen renewal continues and further improvements can be seen even after 6 months.
Ultherapy Before & After
ReFirme™
Results are natural looking and require a minimal amount of maintenance to keep clients looking their best. It is the only skin tightening treatment that combines the use of both infrared light and radio frequency technology to significantly improve the skin’s tone and elasticity. When applied to the skin, the infrared light heats the tissue of the skin. The heat acts as a conductor to allow the radio frequency to penetrate the dermal layers more deeply and easily. As the radio frequency energy permeates the tissues it causes the skin to contract and tighten while stimulating collagen production for a period of at least 90 days, a process called Collagen Remodeling. Clients notice significant improvements in the tone and contour of the skin as it becomes tighter and firmer. ReFirme has been approved by the FDA and has little to no risk of serious complications. Because of the combination of infrared light and radio frequency energy used in Refirme™ therapy, the treatment is painless. The length of treatment time depends on the area treated. In general, treatment time is approximately 60 minutes. Following the treatment, no recovery time is necessary and clients can return to daily activities.
Ideal candidates for ReFirme™ are those with skin laxity concerns of the facial skin, jowl, and neck as well as sagging brow lines and skin under the eyes. While many clients experience an immediate improvement, an initial series of 3 treatments is recommended to receive the optimal results of ReFirme™ therapy. Advanced skin laxity may require 6 treatments. Ideally, treatments will be administered once every 30 days for three months. Following ReFirme™ treatment, we recommend that our clients invest in Persona’s recommended skin care regimen to ensure and maintain optimal results. Recommended healthy skin care practices are required and include avoiding excessive sun and UV exposure and applying a daily SPF 30 sunscreen. In most cases, when skin is well taken care of, clients can enjoy the results of ReFirme™ therapy for up to 24 months before maintenance treatments are needed.
Muscle Tone Face Lift
Muscle Tone Face lift is a an anti-aging treatment that utilizes electronic impulses to stimulate sagging facial muscles.
